Ambivalent presents "In The Shadow of Tiresias".

The fourth chapter of Ambivalent, ‘In the Shadows of Tiresias’, addresses the theme of identity and transformation through the mythological figure of Tiresias, the blind seer who lived as both a man and a woman. The performance explores the limits of perception, the confrontation with one's own nature and the weight of prophecies, inviting the audience to reflect on the fluidity of identity and the mystery of human existence.

The evening will begin with an experiential workshop followed immediately by a live performance in which actors Carlotta Maria Rondana and Marco Palange will lead participants on a unique sensory journey. Through the use of masks, ritual movements and vocal improvisations, participants will be taken on a symbolic journey to confront the duality and complexity of their own shadows. During the performance, the two actors will engage in an intimate and dramatic dialogue, embodying the figure of Tiresias and his many facets.

The performance will be accompanied by Stefano Rocchi's electronic live, who will use experimental sound textures to evoke a dreamlike and deeply emotional atmosphere, inspired by the cyclical nature and metamorphoses of life.

To conclude the evening, the DJ set by Psykia, who will propose a musical selection inspired by the concepts of duality, transition and inner illumination, transforming the finale into a liberating and cathartic experience.​

‘In the Shadows of Tiresia’ is an invitation to embrace the complexity of being human, to explore what is hidden in the shadows and to find new light through transformation.
